The Old Winery, one of three cottages at Higher Wiscombe, sleeps 20 in 10 en-suite bedrooms, has two kitchens and sets on 52 acres of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It is ideal for large house parties, family “get-togethers”, birthday parties and anniversaries. The Old Winery was formerly an apple winery and is a unique, enormous and lavishly appointed barn. The entire building has underfloor heating and double-glazed windows making it warm in winter, with the slate floors keeping it cool in summer. There are two fully equipped kitchens to facilitate catering on a large scale and a large sitting room with lots of squashy sofas. The oak dining table can seat twenty with ease and can be extended to seat up to 32 when the other barns are booked in conjunction with the Old Winery. There is a large private garden, which is not overlooked, with a wonderful view of the unspoilt valley below.
This is a dog friendly cottage with a maximum of two dogs unless agreed otherwise.
